A hidden gem right in our own backyard! We have been sending our son to Patoir's Prep since he was 2-years old and he's doing amazingly well. This family run school has a charming atmosphere and the owner and staff are very accessible and truly invested in educating the children. Our son's vocabulary & social skills increased a tenfold once he started here because of the constant interaction, education and social development.

The kids here are so well disciplined you'd wonder if they were real! Our son is a spitfire at home but once he gets to school he falls right in line. We threw a birthday party for him last year at Patoir's Prep and the kids came out, sat at the table and didn't touch anything until they were told it was okay. Even when the party was in full swing and the kids let loose, there was still organized play in all the confusion!

If you want a clean, safe, healthy, fun & academically enriching environment for your kids to grow and learn, definitely consider Patoir's Prep. This place sells itself and when you meet Mrs. Patoir the owner and operator you'd feel even more at home.

I'm lucky to have found this place. I recommend Patoir's Prep wholeheartedly to any mother. I looked at other places that were much more expensive, and none of them had the warm family-like atmosphere of Patoir's. You can tell that the staff genuinely cares about the children. They pay attention to each child's emotional state, health, and interests. My toddler is never fussy about going to daycare. In fact, she sometimes doesn't want to leave because she's having too much fun with her little friends.

Whenever I go to pick up my little girl, all of the kids look like they are having a great time. I also love how the staff has handled me! I'm a first time mom, and whenever they need to help me along, they deliver the advice with warmth and tact. I can also tell that they take great pains to keep the children engaged and further their intellectual development. My husband and I hadn't thought to start teaching our baby the alphabet yet, and then one day she just started singing the alphabet song. I really can't recommend this place highly enough.

What I really like about Patoir's Prep Academy is their relaxed, confident attitude. All the caretakers just adore being with children all day, they've seen it all before, know all the "tricks" for encouraging good behavior in a positive way. The daycare has been open for many years and they have staff members who have been working there for around 10 years, which to me is incredible, and speaks volumes. The owner, Miss Marcia, is probably the friendliest person you will ever meet. They are just all such sweet people.

They have been very flexible with us - my 6 year old son goes to them for after school care and they were willing to meet him at his school bus stop. They do a great job with him, getting all his homework done and encouraging his interests and hobbies.

My daughter has been there since she was 4 months old, so everyone there is just part of her family as far as she's concerned. She runs to them in the morning, and on occasion doesn't want to come to me when I pick her up in the evening, she wants to be with them! You'd think it'd make me feel bad, but all I feel is how lucky I am that she loves it so much there! I really am a fan of the family-style daycare as I think it's great for the kids' social development. They learn so much from the older kids and it's really good for them to be in a mixed age group, all playing together.

Our experience has been great. They are willing to follow any feeding guidelines you might have - I sent expressed breast milk daily with my daughter for her first year, and that was no problem for them. They've never tried to give me any unwanted advice or asked me to change the way I do anything. They are respectful and feel very much my partner in raising my child.
